Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

After dining out we landed at Bittersweet, where we finished the night with dessert cocktails and yummy desserts! I had a Carajillo to drink and it was absolutely delicious! She had a poundcake with marscapone, fresh fruit and berry jam. I had a bourbon pecan pie with homemade whipped cream on the side, toasted pecans and a salted caramel sauce. It was so good I bought a second one to take home!!! And we got to end our evening with a beautiful sky in the background!! We loved Brandon, our server!!! He was just the icing on the cake⦠or in this case, the pie!

Love this place! Great drinks and good desserts. Desserts are big enough to share. My favorite is the salted chocolate chip ice cream sandwich with caramel popcorn. Inside is a little small; there can be a wait on the weekends, so be prepared. They do have a to-go window where you can get select drinks and desserts without the wait for a table. Definitely worth it!

Worth the wait⦠absolutely perfect little place! My drink tasted like springtime in a glass. The whole atmosphere is special and fun, as well as clean. The staff are professional and personable. House made gummy bears, amazing ice cream, perfect cocktails. Clean minimalist speakeasy vibe. Really cute place!

My first visit was a delightful experience, and I must say, the desserts were so delectable that I didnβt even need to indulge in alcohol. Itβs the perfect spot for a late-night dessert date with my girlfriends. I highly recommend this place to anyone who hasnβt visited yet. You wonβt be disappointed.

Update** came back to have some dessert... we had our sleeping 5 month old with us 15 minutes after 8 and it is strictly 21 up after 8pm everyday. They do have this written on their website but i didnt see that until after we left. This is a just "so you know" if you happen to come into town late at night & this stands no matter how busy they are. This place is a gem. π one of the best dessert restaurants that i've been to. The drinks were good and our server was very nice. I had the creme brulee and it was PERFECT π π π₯° . We went on a Sunday and the special changes every sunday for pie. Everyone's desserts looked great. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing, it also looks like a cool hangout. Thank you for the delicious time. Parking was on the street and we didnt have to walk far. Parking was free on the street that day. Seemed close to the bus station too.
